This page explains what the Transcend Outdoors website collects when you look at pages or ask for a quote, and how to ask us to delete that information.
Information you send us
The quote forms ask for your name and phone number. The quote page also asks for your email, the property address, the service you need, and a description of the project. You can attach photos of the site. Those photos are stored with the request.
We store the IP address and the browser information that arrive with the form. We use them to block spam and to keep a record of the request. Cloudflare checks the form for spam before we accept it.
How you found the site
The site saves, in this browser, how you arrived. That includes the campaign tags on the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content), Google click IDs (gclid, gbraid, and wbraid), a Facebook click ID (fbclid), the referring page, and the path of the landing page. The first visit is kept. A later visit from an ad, a campaign link, or another site updates the latest visit. A later visit with no new source does not erase the one already saved.
That browser copy lasts 90 days. If you submit a quote, the saved source information is stored with the request, along with your answer to "How did you hear about us?" when you give one.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
The source information above is kept in the browser's local storage, not in a cookie. After a quote is saved, the site sets a cookie for two minutes so the thank-you page can count that request one time. The cookie does not include your name, phone number, or email.
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and to record events such as quote clicks, phone clicks, email clicks, direction clicks, review links, and social links. It does not receive the text you type into a form.
Microsoft Clarity shows how people move through a page, including taps and scrolling. It loads only when we have turned it on. Quote forms are masked, so Clarity does not record the text you type.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without using cookies.
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts this browser out of Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep a request
The browser copy of how you found the site is removed after 90 days. The quote, any photos, the source information saved with it, and the IP address and browser information stored with it are kept as long as needed to handle your request and our business records.
Who we use to run the site
Cloudflare hosts the site, stores quote requests and photos, checks forms for spam, and counts visits. Google Analytics counts visits and the events above. Microsoft Clarity, when it is on, records how pages are used, with form text masked. The quote request is emailed to our team through Resend.
We do not sell your personal information.
Ask us to delete your information
